Bachelor’s degree or a degree in a related field.
3+ years demonstrated development experience with hand coding advanced HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, C#, and
SQL
3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Web Frameworks: ASP.NET and MVC
Proven experience developing high availability, database-driven applications
Strong understanding of core development concepts: Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and relational
database concepts
Working knowledge of enterprise-level Windows OS hosting (Linux a plus)
Expert-level HTML and CSS skills
Proven expertise with responsive design and development standards
Familiar with the structure and operation of MS Internet Information Server (IIS), including the ability to set up
new websites
Working knowledge of HTML email building and blasting in common ESPs
.NET content management experience (Umbraco experience highly desired)
Communicate and convey technical concepts to clients, team members and project managers
PHP development experience a plus
eCommerce development experience
Is familiar with the Mailchimp email marketing platform, Search Engine Optimization, Web Application
Skinning, Responsive Website Design, Mobile Website Design, Resizing and optimizing graphics and video,
Integration of various plugins and 3rd party API'S, etc.
Troubleshooting and debugging pre-existing website
Work both independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Experience designing/building websites from concept to launch.
Experience with Content Management Systems, WordPress, Woocomerce, and learning management systems.
Experience in HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript with a keen eye for design details.
Experience with design software - Photoshop, InDesign, CorelDRAW, Illustrator, etc
Familiarity with design techniques (e.g. prototyping, wireframing)
Understanding of typography and layout design, color theory and it’s used in the design, UI/UX and conversion
optimization
Understand and apply UX/UI practices
Excellent eye for design and color
Attention to detail needed to execute the visual design on the web.
